Between 2-4 September 2021, the 29th Congress of the Polish Society of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine (PTHiT) will be held at the Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre in Bydgoszcz. The PTHiT conventions are held every two years and are the most important scientific and educational events of our Society. The previous, 28th Congress took place in Łódź and was one of the largest in terms of the number of participants, submitted works and the number of foreign lecturers. We hope that the Congress in Bydgoszcz will be equally interesting and fruitful.
The 29th PTHiT Congress will be devoted to scientific and practical aspects of diagnosis and treatment of blood diseases. Among more than forty sessions, we also expect topics concerning the etiology and pathogenesis of hematopoietic diseases. The lectures, as well as oral and poster presentations will refer to the problems we encounter both in scientific work and in everyday clinical practice. We expect some sessions traditionally held at the previous congresses, concerning hematopoietic cancers, non-cancer blood disorders, haemostasis disorders and transfusiology. As in the previous years, there will be an EHA - PTHiT session as well as international sessions featuring foreign guests. During the Congress we also count on the active participation of the representatives of pharmaceutical companies whose activities are related to hematology.
We hope that the selection of topics and discussions with the participation of a wide range of specialists from Poland and foreign guests will make our congress interesting for you and provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, to deepen the knowledge necessary in everyday clinical practice, to consolidate existing contacts and friendships, and to make new ones.
See you in Bydgoszcz!
